Philile is a nonprofit organization expanding rapidly to transform the lives of children and disadvantaged communities in South Africa. It aims to run a full range of initiatives with in-depth focus on early childhood development.

Objectives

• Establish early childhood development centers (pre-schools) in disadvantaged communities
• Provide psycho-social care to these children by running programs that are aimed at the physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and social development of children
• Run an empowerment teacher program

Philile was founded in 2008 by Kaleb Willems with support from GodFirst Church. The first Philile pre-school was opened in Johannesburg's inner city on the border of Hillbrow and Braamfontein. In March 2010 our second site was opened in Johannesburg's Northern township of Diepsloot. Soon to come is Philile's third pre-school located in the heart of Cosmo City.
