An integral part of our vision at GodFirst is the empowerment of the poor.  Remembering the poor (Gal 2:10) as well as the warnings and promises of Isaiah 58 are right at the heart of the gospel. Our commitment to Oasis haven is a gospel issue and one of the most practical ways for us to express the good news of Jesus to the orphans of our society.

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families…” Psalm 68:5-6

Oasis Haven of Love Foundation is a non profit organization that seeks to place and care for abandoned and HIV positive children within families. Our strategy is simple and revolves around the concept of “Family”. It is worked out as follows:
The Adoption Option:  We place abandoned children into Adoptive Families
Family Homes: We aim to be a family to those children that we cannot place, through our Family Homes.

 
We believe that the greatest need any child has is to grow up in a family with loving parents. In families, children receive the foundation they need to succeed in life. We believe that we have built a model to impact children on a much larger scale. By finding families, and establishing family homes for our children, we believe that we can be a part of the solution to this major crisis.
